Terracotta Floor.

Terracotta Floor.

Terracotta is one of the most porous floors which we come across but has been used for many years back to Roman times (and for pottery and sculptures long before this).

Due to this porosity terracotta becomes quite easily ingrained with soil and even discolours.

Sealing itself can be a long process as multiple coats are normally required as the porous tile takes in all the sealer. It is important to get this right but the effects of using layers of a colour enhancing sealer can be fantastic.
